Help us keep everyone well this flu season!

To help keep everyone well this flu season, we’re now asking all patients and staff to wear a face mask when visiting the surgery. If you’re feeling unwell with any cough, cold, or respiratory symptoms, please make sure to pop one on before coming inside. If you’re eligible for a flu vaccine and haven’t had it yet, now is a great time to book your appointment. Protecting yourself also helps protect those around you. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and healthy!

Dental abscess

A dental abscess is a collection of pus that can form inside the teeth, in the gums, or in the bone that holds the teeth in place. It’s caused by a bacterial infection.

Dental abscesses are often painful, but aren’t always. In either case, they should be looked at by a dentist.

It’s important to get help as soon as possible, because abscesses don’t go away on their own. They can sometimes spread to other parts of the body and make you ill.

Dental Pain/Toothache

See a dentist if you have toothache that lasts more than 2 days. There are things you can do to ease it while you wait for an appointment.
