Help us keep everyone well this flu season!

To help keep everyone well this flu season, we’re now asking all patients and staff to wear a face mask when visiting the surgery. If you’re feeling unwell with any cough, cold, or respiratory symptoms, please make sure to pop one on before coming inside. If you’re eligible for a flu vaccine and haven’t had it yet, now is a great time to book your appointment. Protecting yourself also helps protect those around you. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and healthy!

Dementia Action Week

Posted on:

As part of Dementia Action Week just to let you know details of a marketplace event we are holding at Edgbaston Community Centre on the 19 May 10.30am-1.30pm where we have all dementia-related and carer associated organisations attending for service users/communities interested in getting further information and advice about dementia or support services available.  It is an ideal opportunity for public members to speak with a range of professionals related to the field of dementia, pre or post diagnosis. This can range from anything from planning for the future, coping with memory loss or getting in extra help, alongside emotional support associated with adapting to diagnosis and progression of dementia.

Do please share with colleagues/communities who may be interested.

Dementia Action Week | Alzheimer’s Society

Just a reminder our national support line which is open 7 days a week, excluding bank holidays for advice and support. However, if people need more one to one support we also have our team of dedicated community-based dementia advisers who can visit people within their home environment. Individuals can also self-refer for this service by calling 0333 150 3456. Health and social care professionals may refer via our online portal on our website.
